Illustration - Characters
I create various characters through collage, hand drawn and digital mediums, producing small publications and installations.
My work is inspired by Scandinavian folklore and landscapes, Japanese character culture, deep sea monsters, 1970’s psychedelic animations of my youth, dreams, nightmares and subconscious wanderings.
In 2017 I created Trypophobia, a small book of abstract creatures through publisher Micro Library Books and was commissioned to produce characters for a children’s arts and wellbeing publication alongside psychologists at King’s College called My Memory Forest
I am particularly interested in producing characters for further children’s wellbeing initiatives and creating further publications. For any commissions please contact me: firstname.lastname@example.org
Pattern & Collage
I create various cut-outs and compositions drawing upon my experience living and travelling in Eastern Europe and the former Eastern Bloc. I like to channel Space Age shapes, post-Soviet landscapes and architecture and the work of the Constructivists.
I take street portraits of older people around the world with an unusual and distinct sense of style and personality for a variety of projects to promote positive ageing.
I also work as a photographer at events and on the street around the UK and Europe capturing contemporary fashion for a range of clients such as The Guardian, Independent, Vogue and Virgin Airlines. More on my Fashion Photography page
For enquiries, commissions or to use my photographs for positive ageing projects please contact me: email@example.com
I have an extensive archive of images from travel around Japan, Ukraine, Romania, the Baltic states, Poland and Scandinavia, capturing beguiling colours and textures from forgotten times, evocative spaces and intriguing tableux.
More to be added soon.

Kuriosas Vintage Design Archive
Since 2010 I have channeled my love of vintage illustration and design, 20th century relics, oddball visual culture and Eastern European aesthetics into a blog where I archive curious and eye catching artifacts I come across on my travels, interview artists and muse over strange old things
I am an experienced photographer of people, having profiled thousands of individuals on the streets of the UK, Europe and Japan and at a number of high profile events including Ascot, Olympics 2012, London Fashion Week, Primavera Sound Festival, Goodwood Revival, Wilderness Festival, London Men's Collections, Frieze and many more.
I have extensive experience of capturing all sorts of demographics and also produce portraits of unique older people around the world to promote positive ageing, used by clients such as The Guardian Weekend and The School of Life in their recent book ‘How to Age’. More on this work can be found on my Street Portraits page.
